Thomas Johnson VIEW PROFILE

He died on May 19, 1985. It was a car accident on Hamilton Blvd. He served 4 years in the Air Force. 2 years in Germany and 2 years in Las Vegas. He was born on March 23, 1961.

 

Thomas Leroy Johnson, 24, 4423 Floyd Blvd., died Sunday in a Sioux City hospital of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Sioux City.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Calvary Lutheran Church. The Rev. Ronald B. Flentgen will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 9 p.m. Wednesday with a prayer service at 6:45 p.m. in Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel

Mr. Johnson was born March 23, 1961, in Lampertheim, West Germany. He had been a resident of Sioux City since April 1968. He graduated from North High School in 1980.  A constructiga worker, he served in U.S. Air Force with the 820th Red Horse Heavy Equipment Co. and was discharged in October 1984 after four years of service.

Mr. Johnson was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his parents, William E. and Lieselotte Johnson of Sioux City; a brother, John L. of Sioux City; two sisters, Miss Diana Lynn of Las Vegas, Nev. and Ms. Anna Salem of Sioux City and his grandmother, Mrs. Anna Kettler of Lampertheim.

Diana Johnson (Forest)

Thomas L. Johnson, born March 23, 1961 in Lampertheim, Germany.  Died on May 19th, 1985.  He joined the Air Force in 1980 and was stationed 2 years in Germany and then 2 years in Las Vegas, NV.  Thomas's best friends were Scott Smith, Shawn Small, Larry Hansen, Lonnie Rawson and of course his sister Diana Johnson!!!!!!!!!
