What a fantastic reunion weekend! As usual the committee of Diane, Julie, Peggy, Beth, and Bill did a superb job! Thanks to you all!

We started off Friday night at the Townhouse, where Kenny worked up a good sweat setting up his karaoke equipment. It was a bit crowded but no one seemed to mind. After a brief time to get everyone lubricated, Kenny started off the karaoke by singing a few songs. Pretty soon he had a line of classmates wanting to grab the mic(s) and sing along. (Not due to his singing, which is damn good, but rather the beer was kicking in for the rest of us amateurs.) Kenny furiously tried to keep up with the requests, and performed brilliantly. Ha, Thanks Kenny, it was the best karaoke around!!!!

Meanwhile, people were coming in and out and friends were catching up with each others lives, and generally having a great time. If there were any fights this year, I missed them. ;-) Did I mention that alcohol was being consumed in great quantities...the staff at the Townhouse were definitely earning their tips, and did a great job keeping our glasses full!

Saturday night began at 6pm at the alternate venue, Minerva's at the old Plaza shopping center. Diane and Charlie Shanafelt checked in the guests and provided the priceless free drink tickets to the class. Thanks Diane and Charlie for your help! Classmates mingled and shared current events about family and friends. Some Friday night attendees were unable to make Saturday night, but some new faces showed up and fun was had by all. About 7pm we showed a video slide show. They included pictures from our early school years, and many more throughout our high school years and beyond! Dinner was served shortly thereafter and the talking and laughter never ceased. They kicked us out at 11pm, but people were still engaged with each other and many did not leave the restaurant until it closed at midnight. I'm sure many, as I did,  went to friends and families homes and continued catching up with friends and making new ones.

Personally, each reunion seems to be better than the last. I guess we are all more experienced party goers! Each trip home for me brings me closer to old friends and new. I especially want to thank Tammy and Bob for their generous hospitality on Sunday evening.
